OS Recommendations
Social Service Nonprofit
The nonprofit would likely benefit from the cost-friendly and secure/stable environment offered by the Linux platform.
Interior Design Firm
The small interior design firm would likely be able to take advantage of the artistic features offered by the Mac OS, without the need for very large-scale features.
Social Media Advertising Agency
The advertising agency would likely be better off with Windows, due to the host of compatible third-party software and hardware accessories needed for the companies technical operations.
This assignment requires a basic and practical understanding of common operating systems (OS). The most interesting and practical part of this assignment came as a decision to pair up a particular organization with a particular OS, based on the organization's business and technical requirements. I think this paints a good picture of real-world applications of systems management and OS deployment from a business perspective.
